Manorville

Manorville

Located in Suffolk County, Long Island, Manorville covers the largest area of any hamlet in New York. Its northeast portion lies within the Long Island Central Pine Barrens, a heavily-wooded protected zone with wetlands in the northern section near the Peconic River. A significant part of this land is in the Pine Barrens' Core Preservation Area, which means no further development is allowed there. Manorville is clean, safe, and secluded. Though it is considered part of Long Island's North Fork, Manorville has a central island location the town has no beaches but plenty of parks and recreation opportunities. Wide open spaces and vast wooded areas allow residents a real sense of privacy. And though it is considered a gateway to the Hamptons which lie just to the southeast, homes are affordable here. Manorville is served by the Eastport-South Manor Central School District, which also serves parts of both Brookhaven and Southampton. There are plenty of dining and shopping options here and in nearby towns.
